News & Blog Component
The News Component is a great way of keeping your visitors informed, and will keep them coming back to read your latest updates. It can be used for basic articles, or as a full-blown blog.
Select publish & archive dates.
You can select, publish and archive dates for each article. This is a great feature if you have an article that needs to go live on a specific date, but you won't be available to publish it on the day, or you just don't want to have to remember to.
Add multiple News components.
You can add more then one instance of a News component to your website, to seperate out different sections of your site and customise options for each one.
Optional features.
To get feedback from your readers, you can choose to turn on either Commenting and/or Article Ratings to allow your users to let you know what they think. You can even choose to require approval before comments go live. Read more about commenting here.
Extra Components.
We have other components that go hand in hand with the News component, that display archived news articles, latest news items, and tag clouds.
Automatic RSS feed.
Automatically generated RSS feeds for each News component means that people can follow specific news stories or topics, even if you have more then one News component on your site. Alternatively, one big RSS feed is available for all of your seperate news sections.
